You can fit up to 235/70x16 on the 16" rims, up's the gearing but gives you a little more ground clearance.

Doesn't a 75x16 give more ground clearance than a 70x16 |

a 235\70 means a sidewall of 164,5mm and a 225\75 is 168,75mm.

One thing I have noticed after the new tyres were fitted, (I get approx 2mm more rr), my speedo, when compared to my GPS is much more nearer the mark. Not seen it under-read yet though, thankfully. We Don't Care About Pot Holes !! |
