Love the car, but at the moment it's at the dealers.

This is an 8month old 10 plate FL2. (I bought it new)

Initially, I called out LR Assist to have a look at the drivers window and the excessive condensation on all glass inside.

When he took the door panel off he pointed out to me the amount of water on the inside skin. Then he fixed the stuck drivers window.

The suspension creaks (squawks) every time I go over the traffic calming humps. So they'll be looking at that as well.

I just hope they can find what's causing the condensation. Last week I had ice on the inside of the windscreen!

I know that all cars develop some minor/major faults. but I don't expect to see these problems on a brand new and expensive car.

happy with mine so it gets a 9

would get a 10, but the car is just on the small side on the luggage area, if they sorted that, and nothing else was wrong then i would be happy with a 10.

No real issues to say, rear diff and power transfer thing replaced, but hayhoo things do happen occassionally, low mpg is due to my lifestyle of short trips Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

very satisfied with mine, it gets a 9.

In order to give a 10 I would like the FL2 to be longer by 10cm and taller by 6-8cm for some more interior space and a bit more ground clearance.

With 60000miles on it, no issues so far.

8 points. 1 point off for no electronic park brake which was just great as long as it was a working one and one off for no split rear door (D3) style). The split door was the perfect nappy change table, platform for roof box loading, seat for taking wellies off and allowed long loads to be carried inside. Even the old FL1 you could open the rear window

Had mine 3 months very happy with it. Only problem like others have said is boot space, hence it gets a 9. 2007 TD4 S Zermat Silver, maual, panoramic sunroof, rear headrest entertainment system, towbar for trailer.

8 out of 10 for mine. Love the car, but its had 3 issues, dodgy key, creaking mirrors and an oil leak.

Would happily have another freelander after this 1.

9 from me. Just a few minor niggles the biggest being the lack of storage space/cubby holes in the front of the cab.
No squeaks, creaks, leaks or knocking so far. Thumbs Up

9 aswell, boot could be bigger but hey i bought a my11 after 3 years of a 57 plate. Did look at all the alternatives and did not find a more useable sized boot.

Would have given it 9 but I'm a vanner so my vote doesn't count on any poll instigated by CG Very Happy

Would have got 10 but for the fuel "economy" Big Cry - currently getting 27mpg on a run, nothing to do with the MT tyres, roof bars, ladder or heavy right foot, it's all land Rovers fault. Exclamation Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her
Replaced by Ewok what a mistake - now a happy Disco Sport owner

Norway 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Stornoway Grey

Apart from a replaced DPF and several small issues that have been fixed without a question, mine has run perfectly during 3+ years of ownership. Driving Freely in summer, winter and off-asphalt, is a joy and has been relevantly economical at ca. 40 mpg all round driving. In addition Norwegian insurance is much cheaper that I would have thought for such a vehicle, so it is very difficult to subtract points for these things.

Some design features were a disappointment at first, no boot/cabin protection divider and flimsy cargo cover. Lack of storage space in the cabin and the boot, half plastic instead of full leather seats, complicated to use navigation system only suited for urban and motorway use, etc. Hence a 9. 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.
Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc.
