England 2012 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Fuji White

Looks okay

Glass’ guide –

Part-exchange Price:
Excellent condition: £17600
Average condition: £15700
Below average condition: £13600

For – 20k miles, auto and leather
Against – nearly out of warranty

I have no idea if it’s a good deal at £18k. But I do know a lot about Land Rovers, they can be very expensive without a warranty. You can get a new manual for a little more.

From a 1974 series III to a 12MY XS FL2 with help of a 1995 D1, 1996 D1, 2005 D3, 2007 D3 and a 2009 FL2.

Thanks for your quick reply,

It does look a good deal if you go by parkers guide with the extras included;

Original Price £27,330
Franchised Dealer £20,835
Independent Dealer £20,110
Private Good £19,025
Private Poor £15,275
Part Exchange £17,215
Mileage 20,000
Options fitted
* Metallic paint
* Auto climate control with air filtration and air quality sensing for auto recirculation
* Napoli leather upholstery with 6 way driver/4 way passenger electric seat adjustment+ leather steering wheel

Can an extended warranty be bought through Land Rover or a third party? and what sort of cost??

Also are there known issues with the Freelander 2 which I could get hit with?

Take a look on the LR www thare are very similar specced Freelanders for very similar money, if it were me I would feel better getting from a LR Dealer rather than a trader, at least you will have some warranty from the dealer. Thumbs Up

United Kingdom 2010 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Santorini Black

Looks reasonable enough but after 10 months of looking at HSEs that 'looked reasonable enough' we gave up and bought new. FL2s keep their value so well at the moment that a well negotiated price with your local dealer and the associated full warranty and aftercare seem to make more sense than second hand.

By the way that Auto Trader link gives away your post code... 2010 HSE Auto in Santorini Black/almond with xenons and privacy glass.

Deano,

Seeing as you are only 20 mins from us (in Sunday traffic Whistle ) then please let me know if we can help?

We've not got anything in that budget but we have a 10 plate demo GS Manual in black which I could get to just oiver £20k with just under 3,000 miles.

Just taken in a slightly newer (09 plate) HST Auto, however it has just over 30k miles and will be around £25000.

Let me know if you need any more information.

James Thumbs Up

PS. Parkers can be a little optimistic, but very good for beating 'us dealers' up when it comes to your part-exchange!

PPS. GS with leather is very rare indeed. I have only seen one other which I sold new to another forum member.

.
