Air con vent - dropped something in it.

Bought one of those air fresheners that clip on your air vents. Fitting clip has now fallen off the back of it and dropped down inside one of the vents in the middle of the dash (the one to the left of the stereo). Do you think it is easy to take the vent cover off to try and retrieve it, or is it likely to cause any damage if I just leave it in there? Not sure if the vents go directly into the air-con workings which is why I am a bit concerned about just leaving it. Thanks.

Dead easy to retrieve. Read the mods section under ultimate satnav. It explains how to remove. Used to be good pics, but then the author removed them. Some prat on this site picked a fight with him so he merely stopped using the site.

Thanks Blinged, think I found the post you referenced, but that is probably beyond my technical capabilities and I know I will just break it! Might see if I can just prise the vent cover out instead and try and suck it out with a hoover.
