cleaning roof!!

A friend of mine was cleaning his FL2 Sunday morning and in order to clean the roof he used his alloy step ladders to get up there.
Yeah, you guessed the rest, lost his balance and the ladders made a terrible mess of his car. We've just got back from the pub, poor fellow is so upset. It really is so bad that he didn't allow me to take a pic.
Moral of the story?
Use wood ladders!! He didn't find that funny either!!
Must admit that i've used my alloy step ladders loads of times. Not anymore.

When i do clean the roof I just use a small kitchen step, only need to go up a little bit to reach. I'll give a damn good clean, and wax and leave it for quite while, saves getting the steps out all the time.

I get Tom Cruise in and lower him down from the house using a harness and a system of pulleys for ultimate control. It does mean I have to babysit Suri for a while. Phil

Usually I just open the door take off my shoe and step on the side of the front or back seat and hold on to the roof rail with one hand and a wet towel on the other to clean the roof.

Know what you mean mate. I love when people say 'you're tall aren't you'. My stock reply is - 'I never noticed until you told me' Laughing Gone - TD4 XS Auto, Sumatra Black, Mud flaps and side strips, clear indicators, private plate, privacy glass
