Power Transfer Unit is in the front of the car next to the engine, common for both petrol and diesel as well as auto and manual.

Glad you got it sorted, trouble with these forums sometimes is when you read posts likes this you then start to worry about your own FR2 all the time, especially when its out of warrenty freelander 2 SE black and beige - now sold |

Just please to have it back, in the loan car with no fuel, not knowing when the part would arrive did my head in, felt like I was filling up every couple of days, which I was with a tenner Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis |
