they are saying rear diff, the switch they have already replaced was a power transfer switch

I don't have any part numbers for what they have done, but they said it was £650 for the PTS

they described the PTS as a switch that rotates 90degrees to transfer the power to the rear, if that sounds like a haldex Confused Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Power Transfer Unit is in the front of the car next to the engine, common for both petrol and diesel as well as auto and manual.

They've finished pulling one off for me, and shoved it in the backend of the car Laughing

I'm glad to say my Diff is installed and the whirring is no more Bow down Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Glad you got it sorted, trouble with these forums sometimes is when you read posts likes this you then start to worry about your own FR2 all the time, especially when its out of warrenty Big Cry freelander 2 SE black and beige - now sold

Just please to have it back, in the loan car with no fuel, not knowing when the part would arrive did my head in, felt like I was filling up every couple of days, which I was with a tenner Laughing Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis
