Someone must know? perhaps not worded too well so put another way do the accessory sockets come out easily or are they fixed from underneath? I want to tap into a live feed you see

You must take out / disassemble the centre console. They are fixed quite secure.
Instead, for an alternative, take a live feed from the fuse box area at the passenger feet.

Thank you alex.....I did find that while searching. I wanted to get to the front socket though as it 'lights up' with the lights on. I wanted to tap into that feed as I was going to put a small led in the front of the armrest to see if it would offer some ambient light. I may just hook it up first with a battery to see what effect it would offer before I go pulling it all apart

Sad I know but I miss this from when I had it in the Vauxhall,BMW and Renault, the FL is a bit glum at night with all that green cold light
