Commisioned by Vauxhall. My uni does alot of work with GM in Germany. I've also just finished doing an interior concept for them where they agreed with us about improving quality

Vauxhall don't make bad motors at all, but their problem is they are tarnished with a bad name. Manufacturers such as Kia, Hyundai & now Vauxhall have to keep offerring incentives to boost sales. Ask someone whether they would rather have a Vauxhall Antara, Hyundai Santa Fe, a Kia Sportage, or a Freelander 2, and I practically guarantee what the answer would be, regardless of warranty............ Gone - TD4 XS Auto, Sumatra Black, Mud flaps and side strips, clear indicators, private plate, privacy glass |

My Astra head gasket exploded when I was at college. It was on the M1 and I had to pull over, onbolt the washer tank and pour the water into the expansion tank to get home. Worked though.

Q5 - no thanks! It looks like a Q7 with growth issues. I'm really pleased with my baby landy. However, If I had the money to buy and run a one, I'd definitely get a D4 HSE over all the rivals Back to topic - good luck to Vauxhall. I think they sell some good looking motors, such as the Insignia, Astra and the Corsa (for a small car at least). As for the remainder of their vehicles.............each to their own I guess Gone - TD4 XS Auto, Sumatra Black, Mud flaps and side strips, clear indicators, private plate, privacy glass |

The question is not whether the car will last 10 years but will Vauxhall (General Motors) survive 10 years. They just scraped themselves out of chapter 11 bankruptcy with a huge wedge from the US government but they are not out of the woods by any means. I wouldn't bet on them existing in 10 years in which case any 10 year warranty will be worth about as much as a used piece of my toilet paper |
