Aston Martin Day

Just been on my Aston Martin Day today. I did a Ferrari day once but this was better value for money. It was at the Bruntingthorpe circuit near Leicester and I did 4 laps in a DB9. Yes there were more extreme cars there such as Lambo's and a Nissan GTR but nothing is as sublime as an Aston. I overtook 2 other Astons and the GTR Very Happy plus no car is quite as cool as the Aston Cool.

But people, I followed these laps with 3 laps as a passenger in a supercharged Aerial Atom driven by The Stig! It looked bloody fast but being in it just cannot be described. You can forget anything. Until you have been taken for a fierce ride in an Atom by a racing driver, you do not know the true meaning of biblical acceleration!

Here's a couple of pics (family/friends could not get to the track for pics):

Excellent work chicken george. That is definitley a DB9 you were driving, same as me. It's a 6.0 V12 with 470bhp. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby
