would the tyre off the spare wheel have fitted ? I know the wheels are different, but thought the tyres were the same - at least this would buy enough time to source one in the future. |

I thought of that ,but the spare is smaller than the other tyres,wish i had paid for a full size when i ordered the car !!! |

Yes Freelander1 was available with 18" wheels shod with Goodyear wrangler HP's and the FFRR also has 18" Warngler HP's so it's odd that the dealer didn't have any! How can carbon have a footprint, it has no feet?

Ive had this problem, wrote off a Michelin Latitude 17" tyre, luckily I ordered a full size alloy spare. Couldn't get another michelin, all the local tyre dealers had to go on Michelins website to see what it was, so got a Goodyear wrangler instead, which everyone seemed to have. At least I had a working spare the same day!! |
