New owner - where do i start ?

Ok guys finally talked the woman into getting herself a fl2 which she picks up friday, its just an "s" so to spruce it up a bit id like to add a few "bits". ive read quite a bit on this forum but thought id ask the advice of you lot, any help greatly appreciated.

First thing she needs is side steps, i think ive got these sorted (ebay) and im read up on the rivnut and clips issues, sure i can manage that, if not theres a landrover specialist near me on the team valley gateshead who might do me a good deal.

Hst kit, quite often for sale on ebay but from what ive seen normally painted up in black, i need a stornaway grey kit and wondered if there was any issues in repainting them, also does the hst kit retro fit an 'S' model? are the bumpers different throughout the range?

retro fit rear parking sensors, theres lr kit on ebay, wondered if anyone had done this and how hard it was?

Alloys, would 19" range rover sport alloys fit the fl2 ?

United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Sumatra Black

Welcome!!!

Firstly only FL2 Wheels fit, apart from with spacers, but I wouldnt take the chance. Anyway they do some right nice larger examples for the FL2 which come up fairly cheap on our old friend Eblag!!

Speaking of which its probably your best and cheapest option for bits and bling!!

All the best 'Freddie' FL2 2007 GS, Sumatra Black, Manual

I'd certainly recommend self fit rear parking sensors. I fitted some to my wifes last car (not a Freely) and the kit even came with a cutter to make a hole for the sensors. It was about £40 complete but at that time you could get them for less than £25 but I went for a UK seller. A doddle to fit, all four sensors wire up to a main box (this houses the speaker for the beeper) one wire to earth and the other to the live feed for the reversing light. Thumbs Up
