just ordering some number plates from craigsplates, and because i aint getting my fl2 till friday im not sure what size to order? are they just standard, front and back the same, anyone got custom sizes on ?

Mine are standard

They're not the same size back & front like "normal" cars.

When I ordered mine; iIR - Front plate is 4+ inches deep & the back plate is nearly 6 inches.

But I suspect that you knew that anyway and that's what you meant by standard.

No I mean mine are both standard @ 111mm x 521mm front and rear. However i've just been in the garage to look @ the original plates and the rear is as you say somewhat larger 151mm x 534mm 

The rear is larger, but there's no reason not to use standard size plates, after all the font is the same size and the extra space is just the yellow background. Phil

The large number plate is an old Rover tradition which LR seem to have taken up again. Personally I think they look better with the larger rear plate.
