you are a very honest salesman Mark !! but on this forum I suppose you need to be.

if you do not get rid of the car on the forum I wouldn't be so honest with the history elsewhere as I'm sure it would put a lot of potential buyers off.

I totally agree with your sentiments and the fact that you have lost confidence in the car and would not wish to own it outwith the warranty period...........I would do the same.

hope you sell it and move on to something which you feel happy to keep a bit longer.

Why not keep the car and extend the warranty with landrover. THis is what I have done, £535 to extend the warranty for one year, it covers almost everything if the car has done less than 45000 miles at the time of taking out the warranty. You can pay monthly by direct debit £53.50 for 10 months, no intrest.

It will cost you more to change the car!

what motor are you getting? one with an oil less engine I hope crank seals fail on many many engines its not a LR exclusive At work

I only do 10,000 miles a year, so don't think that'll be an issue for me.

Best I have out of tyres has been 11K and thats not driving hard or round abouts, Just letting you know, come to think of it, how long have the tyres lasted on the FL2 ?

Still on original 18" Goodyears at 28,000 miles -looking to change for another set of Goodyears at 30,000.

Do hammer it around roundabouts when I can, brake hard and late, accelerate up to speed as hard as possible, off road when ever I can, kerbs don't exist, trackings a bit out - no surprise there.

Hi Mark.................. don't want to burst your bubble with the Audi but my last car was an A6 Sline deisel and the same/equiv seal went on my engine at 31k on a 2 yr old car.

Great cars though really miss mine for driveability
