My TD4SE has around 22,000ks up and I'm sure the "diesel rattle/knock" is getting louder than when we first bought it. Dealer assured me it was 'normal' when I asked them to check it while having some warranty work done. Is anyone aware of any issues with injectors etc. that may account for the increased noise. We were really impressed with the low noise level in the TD4 when looking to purchase so I'm fairly sensitive to it. It's coming up for the second service and I'd like to be well informed when I take it in. Any suggestions?

after my second service mine made a lot more noise, don't know why, but recently had to add a liter of oil (stick on minimum) and the noise was gone. wondering myself now if they really changed the oil or not, engine now running silently like before... Fl2 zermattsilver TD4 S man
