M4 eastbound and needed some fuel. Got to the Membury services and most of normal diesel (at 124.9p per litre!!!) pumps were out of action. The super sonic diesel remaining was 134.9p per litre!! Are they taking the ! Who would pay that much for a litre of fuel, even if super sonic, when you can buy normal diesel at my local BP for 118.9p per litre. Just because they have a captured market and motorists who need fuel?

I filled up at our local Sainsbury's last night after towing all day long, the range dial had read 0 miles for a while! Anyway, when I pulled in the price said 116.9/litre, when I'd filled up and went to the kiosk she tried charging me more than what the pump said, because the proce had gone up 2p in the time I was there!

117p at the Esso near me, most I have ever paid was 136p at a garage in Devon whilst on holiday during the last fuel crisis. |
