When using auto lights, don't forget that when they do come on it will be at the last setting of dip/main beam switch In other words, if the last setting was main beam, they will come on as main beam thus dazzling oncoming drivers. Not a feature i like at all. wish it would re-latch to dip beam upon reactivation.

The other odd thing is auto wipe. I was driving a few days ago when my front screen got splattered with flies. The (auto) front wipe came on and completley smeared the windscreen to such a degree as i had such poor vision i had to pull over. Glad i wasn't on a M/way.
Anyone else come across this?

I think it works by sensing light been refracted in the glass

a splater of flys might have refracted enough light to make it think it's raining, especially if impact was near the sensor
