Oh dear, I've really upset Mildred...

... Yes, she's so sad that she's been sold she wouldn't unlock tonight. Headlights flashed but wouldn't open. Tried with remote half a dozen times and she finally unlocked. Drove the forty miles home and she then wouldn't lock-just flashed her headlights at me. So went in house for other remote and it locked first time.
Does anyone know why she's doing this?
Many thanks in advance.
Smile

It's probably just objecting to being called Mildred.
Headlights flashing sounds unusual. Normally hazard flashing indicates lock/unlock. There is a button to light the courtesy headlight feature but this doesn't affect the lock status.
If one keyfob works normally and another doesn't, the logical conclusion might be that there's a fault with one of your keyfobs, not the car.

I think FL2s have a mind of their own. She's been fine today. Mildred has had many problems. However, I love her to bits. I'll certainly be sad to see her go... Won't miss her 'issues' though...
I use TVLR and have never felt fobbed off. I can only speak very very highly of them. Sadly it's Mildred's second home! I've certainly had value for money from the LR warranty. I really hope the new one that's coming to live with us is slightly better behaved! I'd better give it a better name then???

My first car was a yellow and black minivan called Mildred. Alas had to abandon her in Germany. I wonder if they were related.
