Hi all i was just wanting to know what people get from a full tank of fuel. I am not that impressed with my MPG best i get is 30MPG. It has been to the dealer who states that there is nothing wrong with it. I can get 465 miles out of a full tank of diesel.

I have an Auto mostly round town and tend to get 425 to 460 on a taak full. Always reset the trip and the computer at every tank full. My car now has 27000 on the clock and is getting better which I am led to beleive is the case with all Diesels Simon 2007 Freelander 2 Rimini Red HSE Auto (Daily Driver) 1991 Range Rover CSK No. 98 (Toy) |

I have to say one of my main gripes with our car is the rubbish mpg, we struggle to get much more than an average of 32-33 mpg . That's a mix of town and A roads too. |

Depends on the way you drive, I am fairly light footed, have an auto which is 2 months old and get around 460 - 500.

I was trying to make the point that you don't buy these cars for economy and that it is economical in this class........ I was quoting the weight other posters had stated and their assessment of the weight seemed correct.........Upto 18 - 20 mph is where most of the fuel is probably burnedgiven its weight and all wheels driving! If you would like to enlighten members including me about the exact weight please feel free 2010 FL2 XS Auto in Santorini Black with HSE alloys |

Very true, you don't buy an LR if you're concious about fuel economy....

Couldn't agree more with both comments. Was a bit unsure about mine coming from a much loved FL1, but have grown to appreciate it especially after such a good winter. Neither have been good on fuel, been lucky to get more than 30mpg out of either, but my driving style and a heavy car are equally to blame.
