England 2010 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Santorini Black

If I wanted to scorch the tyres I'd move to Soweto Laughing

No, more interested in the improved drivability.

Anyhoooo.... joining your ranks temporarily courtesy of LRA. My D3 has tossed its turbo so while it gets dragged off to Yeovil on the back of a low-loader, I'll be buzzing about in a 2010 HSE Auto FL2 in Galway/Alpaca. Very nice it is too.

If you see a very sorry looking D3 covered in Help for Heroes rally stickers between Kent and Somerset, doff your caps would you? Bow down Current driveway contents:
2021 V60 Cross Country B5
2009 FL2 dog bus and shooting wagon

On Order: 2023 Fisker Ocean Ultra - deposit paid.

To me it looks almost snap to a Range Rover Sport - and nothing like a Discovery.

With this talk of the new FL having squared off bumpers etc - I'll stick with my original theory. Rolling with laughter

To me the FL2 is designed to look like a baby Range Rover. Yes?
However, the LRX is going to be the new baby Range Rover. yes?

So.. are they moving the freelander to be more of a baby discovery in it's styling via the facelift and the FL3 ?
:

I've always seen the FL2 as being a part of the disco side of the family than the Range Rover side.

I can see a place for the LRX for people with plenty of money, who don't want a big car and who don't want to risk being accused of being a drug dealer or footballers WAG Laughing

The drivability is alot better, it makes the car more effortless to drive and alot more torquey lower down. You don't tend to need to change gear as often. It drives very factory like, but enhanced. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........
