I'd like to know the answer to this too, as I've been searching the internet to no avail.

Take a look here. It only mentions the petrol version on the Freelander 1, but you never know!

United Kingdom

Have contacted Mantec around last Christmas, they did not make a raised air intake for the FL2, and had no intention of making one. They feel there isn't the market to justify the expense of creating an injection mould - which can be several tens of thousands of pounds.

In theory you can only wade 500mm so don't need a "snorkle" for this, but a "raised air intake" would help in dusty conditions.

The FL1 version was made for the Camel/G4 contest, so I am guessing LR stumped up for the design cost.
The FL2 would have been used for the cancelled 2009 G4, no snorkel was fitted to these vehicles. Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her
Replaced by Ewok what a mistake - now a happy Disco Sport owner
