Towbar

There might be someone wanting to quit farming and tour the country in a caravan, or maybe your wanting a cheapo one for carting the mother in law about in a trailer

anyway Seen one On eBay for £1.00 bloke said he swapped for a LR one and it's not been in a accident and you'll just need electrics

Can't be bothered buying and selling on if it goes cheap so thought I would bring to the forums attension

Id love to quit farming but keep living where I am and a towbar will not be part of my future plans, might be ok for hanging a bike rack but nah I could stand the though of been mistaken for vanner.. The halfords hang on the back bike rack will do for me... 5 minutes to fit then stop in a layby after a few miles to check its not slack.

note to self 'put the fuse back in the rear wiper youve been back from holiday nearly a week now Rolling Eyes'

On putting the rack on I forgot the fuse, wiper came on and hit the bike rack then stopped. It must have a cut out as it didnt get damaged. luckily it was outside my home not on the road. I had to unbolt the wiper to reset it as the rack was loaded up with bikes. At work

was it anyone on here that got the towbar? sold for £1, just needed electrics so a good deal was had

personally i wouldn't use a 2nd hand towbar, unless it was for a cheap trailer or holding a bike rack as you don't 100% know its true history to tow anything expensive.

just think CG for a quid you wouldn't had all the hassle of taking fuses out, reseting wiperblades...... Laughing Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

It might be bought by CG to keep the economy of entering vanning antyhing but cheap. This move would save the streets from one more vanner blocking the way. Rolling with laughter 2010 Freelander 2 Select TD4 auto....gone
