REPLACING BRAKE FLUID

Heres a question that hopfully some one will know.
According to the workshop manual for replacing brake fluid, it states that if SHELL DONAX YB DOT4 ESL FLUID is not available, use a low viscosity DOT4 brake fluid meeting ISO 4925 Class 6 and landrover LRES22BF03 requirements.
Ive looked on the site sponsored by this site but there is no reference to low viscosity oil.
So with this in mind can STANDARD DOT 4 be used instead of low viscosity DOT4 ????

Thanks, as far as i can tell the only differance between low viscosity dot4 and standard is that the first one can take more punishment before boiling ie a lot of off roading, steep hill braking and the like

Yes I would agree. I think you would have to drive like you stole it to boil the brake fliud. Thumbs Up
