I understand, however when I brought my FL2 home, I had great difficulty in referring to it as "the car/ my car", etc. Because it is a Land Rover! Maybe it is because in my (uniformed) distant past I have driven many S2s, (LWB & SWB) Lightweights, etc. Always referred to as "the Land Rover". Therefore, to me, my FL2 is still "the Land Rover"! 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone) 08 FL2 TD4 SE Manual in Rimini Red (Now Gone) |

When I get my new one later this month the last three letters on the number plate are, suv, love that, because that's what it is , or it's a 4x4 or it's just a big car , would not call it a truck though that would be for the disco, |

I don't think it will ever called a car. This one is still the Land Rover, What the Freelander we've just bought will be called is a different matter! Probably "Junior" :D Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated 110 Station Wagon Part-Owner Freelander 2 |

Yep. Mine is a car too. A 4x4 car yes, but a car nonetheless |

Not really too bothered what mine gets called. The only thing that used to annoy me was when people called my old Defender a Jeep.

Never minded it being called a truck. Always felt more like a truck than a car to drive... |
