2008 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Baltic Blue
A few Q's from a Newbie

Hi.

Just bought FL2 HSE 2008 Baltic Blue, Auto and very pleased.

I do have a few more queries if anyone can help please?

Q.1 According to Owners Manual when switching on ignition I should get a display for 5 seconds advising me of service interval. I don't?

Q,2 How do I know if my vehicle has AFS Adaptive Front Lighting which are supposed to adjust when going around corners?

Q.3 My headlamp levelling control does notappears to have any effect?

Q.4 I am sure a passenger of previous owner had his/her feet up on the black leahter effect air bag dash. The resulting in some unsighlty scuffs which are not quite scratches. Anyone know how these could be removed without destroying the semi matt look? Cock Pit Shine no thanks.

Q.5 Anyone know where I might obtain replacent rubber covers for Aux and 12V acccessory sockets other than dealer.

Many thanks
AndrewPRD

Welcome Thumbs Up

Q1.
Only displays when your nearing a service due to miles covered/date due

Q2. I think is answered due to your Q3. If you had xenons/or adaptive xenons you wouldn't have a headlight level control as it's all done automatically. If you have AFS you get a left right twitch when switching on, easily seen If parked infront of a shop window

Is there 1 or 2 rollers next to your lighting dial?

Q4.
Smart repair companies might be able to advise Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis
