2009 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Zermatt Silver
Roof Mounted Bike Carrier

I'm looking for a pair of roof mounted bike carriers, I've been
looking at Mont Blanc Scott's, £60ish of ebay, any good ?

I will not be giving them much use, only when towing as I've
got a tow ball mounted thule.

Any advice would be very welcome. Thumbs Up

Not sure about Blanc Scott's but give Foursaeson4all a try, you should find him on e-bay, he very good for Thule gear, Tel 01670 791077 think his name is John.

I have just sold a pair of Altera Giro,s you can hold the bike with hand while you clamp it in position with the other, good quality carriers.

You should be able to find them cheaper than the price listed. What if there were no hypothetical situations?

Got to agree on the Thule 591s, had these on my FL1 for a good few months and am amazed at how secure things feel up there.

They do cost a little more then others, but they are sat on your roof and the thought of a bike coming off doesnt bear thinking about. Of course im not saying that they will with the other makes but alot of it comes down to how secure you think the bikes are when zipping around the place.

I got the Thule foot pack with Aero bars for the FL2 and havent fitted them all up yet, but plan to do so in the next couple of days.

Ill let you know my thoughts when i do Sport LE Lago Grey
