Nokia 6303 Problem

Had a new phone from work yesterday, paired it up to my FL2 late afternoon, came home and this morning FL2 wouldnt start - FLAT BATTERY!!! Big Cry Big Cry

Could be coincidence but even the AA man who came out couldnt find anything wrong with the battery or car so also came up with the idea that the 6303 isnt compatible with the FL2 and although I managed to pair it, it may have conflicts with my FL2 and doesnt disconnect properly.

I am off to the Welsh mountains for a few days from Monday so glad this has happened now rather than when i am away, needless to say I have unpaired the phone from the car, switched off the phones bluetooth and taken the incar charger out - best to be safe than sorry!!

Any one else has issues with this phone??

I have been using the Nokia 6303 with my FL2 for about five months with no problems at all,
It always disconnects the moment I press the engine stop button,

Just switched to a Nokia 6303 and have had no problems with connecting and disconnecting and no problems with battery drain. Suspect your problem may not be phone related.

the only reason a phone would discharge your battery would be if it was plugged in to the rear power socket as this is always live as opposed to the front which switches off with the ignition. As for bluetooth this switches off with the ignition

I've just got myself a Nokia 6303 too & it it very good but I have found the reception a bit crackly at times but then it does that with my wifes phone & was even worse with my old Nokia. I have also noticed in the last couple of days when I end a call with either the red button or the exit one on the facia the call disconnects but keeps on counting up the call time for about half a minute & you can't do anything about it!! (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.
