First few days of driving I got bit distracted with the heated windscreen but don't have any issues now (day or night) but one thing that I found was that the heating elements shows up with any photos that you take, even when the lens is very close to the glass and focused at a far object. Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto

United Kingdom 2011 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Rimini Red

Well its back. Talk in the sercie reception seemed promising with a run through of all the things they had checked (again). Suggested that full service had been applied the second time around. Very apologetic and attentive - can't fail then for that.

Handed keys to car.

First impressions on approaching car were not as expected - greasy patch on black cover on outside of B pillar, oily marks on door handle and running down door. Inside - door handle, steering wheel, gear lever, hand brake and on inspection radio, starter button, key and passenger door handle call covered with same stuff - not intentionally you understand.

Called Service controller out to have look. not particularly impressed - but if I had been wanting to make a good impression I would have been out to check that it was 100% before I signed it off.
Suggested that the oil was infact Tyre shine - it certainly has quite a bit of silicone in it! either way it shouldn't have been there.....

Valeter / car washing bod called to clean up.

Noticed scuff mark on bonnet also - not a good impression.

Have been promised a full valet when it goes back in for rear wiper fitting when parts arrive.

The only redeeming feature is the voucher they have given me towards the 3rd year service for my 'troubles'.

All in Not an experience I would recommend - top score for quality service? - No way There's always a way forward!
