DIY Towbar installation

This may have been covered before but i can't find any listing so here goes ...

Have acquired from flebay a fixed head tow bar that came off a FL2. On checking the mounting points on the car I can see the mounting points on the offside but there does not appear to be anywhere on the nearside.

Does anyone have the fitting instructions they had can upload or know where on the net they can be downloaded from? Tattoos - Why would you choose to look like the wall of a public toilet?

Depending on what towbar you have there are usually some instructions on the interweb - look on flebay at towsure or the others - you can usually view the fitting instructins without buying - the landroverowner ones say that you need to remove the rear bumper - not the case but you do need a socket that will reach through behind one of the rear reflectors. However if you haev got one of the bars that requires you to cut the rear bumbe (as the LR does) then it might be a bit more diffcult with it in place!!

Good lucjk - once you get your head around it its not a difficult job but make sure you take reasonable care not to let it fall on you - it is heavy!!! Thumbs Up There's always a way forward!
