He He! Most online games servers are based in the USA. Your "ping" times are probably between 100 and 300. Whereas the "pre-pubescent scroat" is probably on a ping of 50. He is not where you think he is: He is, at least, half a second ahead of you. I play a game called WWll Online (Battleground Europe) and have the same problems. Just remember, he is at the most, 1 second ahead of you. Happy gaming |

I know and it is why I get so hacked off with the broadband "service" that we get in the UK. Our local exchange has a maximum speed of 2mps.... which would be ok if it wasn't serving the number of users that it does. Speed 7am, I get 1.9, in the evening it drops to about 1. The base speed doesn't change. Comparison? In the USA over Christmas and in the house that we stayed in the cheapest broadband package that could be bought was 24 meg in 8 meg out.... (Evening the 24 meg dropped to about 8 ) Qingdao China, in a hotel. Download 38meg Up 12. All the time. This was in the hotel room, I was chatting to my kids on Skype. I was crystal clear, they we broken up... It's all ok though. We have Fibre Optic and 21CN to look forward to. 21CN with "UP TO 24 Meg" great. Our exchange was due to go live Q4 2009. Well it has now been upgraded, BUT they are not going to use the technology until 2012 / 2013 W H Y!!!!! I'll get off this soap box.... Hi Darling, I'll be home in 10 mins. If I'm not back, please read this message again... Last edited by xtattsbox on 23rd Apr 2010 9:06 am. Edited 1 time in total |
