I've checked with the local dealer in Kuwait about the LR2. According to them there is no such thing as a LR2 2008 model globally (Valued at: USD 38,181) However when I check the reviews, they all mention the 2008 model.

It seems to be a term for the US market model. So all the US sourced infor will refer to the 2008 model while the rest of us are on the 2007 Model Regards Paul; |

After the production stop for summer holydays the production for the new model year is started. That's not only for LR. All cars (and bicycles etc.) with a production date August 2007 and later will be in accordance with 2008 specifications.

Production of D3 and RRS 2008 model year started on 1st May in the UK! So any new factory order for them is a 2008 car but there are some very odd spec cars coming onstream at the moment - sort of run out 2007 cars with the bits of 2008 model year where stock ran out at 2007 MY price. How can carbon have a footprint, it has no feet?

Personally, I can't be doing with "soft curvy" 4x4s. 4x4s should look the biz, and for me that means straight lines and strong angles. |

In my opinion the Freelander 2 looks much better than the VW Tiguan. Thats a fact.

I have seen my LR2 at the dealership in Mexico. I am waiting, to take it on September. I place my money input in my last trip to Mexico during May, just to hold that LR2, because I wan a Tambora, and may not be longer available on September. The registration number (serial number VIN) is coded as 2008 (XXX 8A XXX). So; in North America market are 2008 MY. Yuri
