I contemplating getting the latest 2009-2010 SatNav DVD disks for my 07 SE, but I am not sure if they are compatible.

Thanks for the quick reply - I thought they would be OK.

Yes that's about the right price to pay, just make sure it's the 3 disc set and for the Freelander 2, when I was looking last year there were 'cheap' single discs and they said suitable for the 'LandRover'...not recommended |

I will take note of your advice - thanks. Tattoos - Why would you choose to look like the wall of a public toilet? |

Have just put the 2009-2010 set in mine took about 40 minutes to update which was on par with the 2008-2009 set I had.

...mine updated the system software/firmware. So i assumed the latest version came with the new disks, hence was up and running in about 15mins or so. |

I have done two updates now and both times took about forty minutes or so seems to be the norm with mine, I just put the discs in and go for a drive round, if you just leave the ignition on after a while I get the battery low message on the radio so rather than sit on the drive with the engine running looking like a div I go for a drive. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior |

When you do the update do you put in all three discs? When I put the 2008 discs in mine I only inserted the UK disc and it appeared to update instantly I think? Should I go back and do all three |

i think you put the other discs in if your going to that country as it doesn't download the maps, it justs updates the software so will still need the disc etc Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis |

I only put the one disc in the UK one. Isn't it the software that it updates off the disc when you put an updated disc in, it then uses the maps on the disc as and when required because if you take the disc out the sat nav fails to function. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior |

I own a 57 and still on the original disc's, is worth the extra expense to up date for just a few new road's or can you see the difference in the new disc . I always remember when we use to have map books, we didn't change them for years so Ill hate to fork out £££ for something that's just the same.
