Remote locking after the software upgrade

Hello all,

After the software upgrade the locking procedure has change. Now every time I press on the remote the locking button the yellow flash lights are blinking even after the second time (full lock) Shocked . Before the upgrade the only blink the first and the second time (if I pressed the remote between 3 seconds) as per the manual. Did some body else experience this after the software upgrade?

Please also post if you had the upgrade and the locking procedure has not change (i.e. if you press the remote for third or fourth and so on you don’t get the flash lights to blink). The first one !!!

I have contacted my dealer and they don’t know what the correct solution is. They are not sure if the flash lights should blink after the second time or not nor if this is affecting alarm. The first one !!!

Hi
If the dealer has not got the solution ask him to contact L/R, they should have offered to do that for you
Good Luck

Efthys,
I have just had the software upgrade and my car is now the same as in your post. Also unlocking, the indicators flash for the 1st button press, but not for the 2nd when the other doors unlock. However, I'm not really worried about this.

What I have found is that my MPG has increased from 31.8 to 34.8MPG (Diesel Auto) - brilliant! (Journey to work of 33 miles on A, B and country roads) Very Happy

From memory, you can change the locking sequence for the buttons to go for either full deadlock on one or two clicks - I'm sure I've read somewhere that you can alter this via the keyfob ( Question Question )

Or maybe it was one of my FL2 related dreams Shocked
