Wanted - Roof rails or bars

I need to transport a roof box and don't have rails. Would be interested in the LR rails and crossbar option or Thule type aero bars.....Cheers

United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Zermatt Silver

LR roof rails cost about £230.00, not cheap, take about 1 hour to fit if your handy,
Seal the end cap covers on there have been know to blow off.

The bars may be cheaper on the net I have Thule Aero bars (rapid fitting one's ) take about 5 minutes to fit once you fitted them a few times Approx £ 145 from Halford Big Cry

But try Fourseasons4all. his a great chap and only deals with Thule, you may find him on E-Bay. Should do you a good price. Plus he hire's the bars and boxes (try before you buy ??) Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

I recently bought the thule aero bars from here:

http://www.skidrive.co.uk/bars/selector3.php?idx=670

Cheapest I found on the web, locks bundled for free, next day delivery. Unfortunately for you, the price has gone up a little in the last week or 2... (I paid £132) Freelander2 SD4 HSE Lux - Firenze Red

2010 Freelander 2 TD4_e S Manual Stornoway Grey

I recently bought the Thule kit (non Aerobar version) for £115 including locks and delivery from The Roof Box Company as I did not want to pay over the odds for LR roof rails and then have to buy bars on top of that. Just used them for the first time on holiday and they were excellent. Dead easy to fit and rock solid once on.
