Have not looked at manual or service booklet until today as this is my 2nd FL2 GS Auto, I note that in neither does it give you a time or mileage for service (ie. 1 year or 15000 miles) only instruction is "refer to service indicator". Previous FL had instruction come up on display warning service due but strict instruction in documents as to correct intervals.

Is this "flexi service" as VW and Skoda which is determined by type of use? All FL2's (3) Gone

I was under the impression it was annually regardless. (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.
(Past) RR Evoque Dynamic Lux Si4 In Firenze Red.
(Past) RR Evouque Pure Tech in Barollo Black with bespoke Firenze Red colour coding.
(Present) Freelander Metropolis 2015 MY In Santorini Black with Ivory Premium Leather.

For uk models the service intervals are set for 15,000 miles or 12 months which ever is reached first and that continues through out the cars life

The point I am making is that nowhere in any literature does it state what service intervals are. All FL2's (3) Gone

Go to the landrover owners information site, just type it in to google and download a copy if you have lost yours

You had me doubting myself!!! I read manual and service book again ( NO I have NOT lost mine) and in 2010 publication NO reference is made to time or mileage, chart in service book also under FL2 "refer to service indicator"

My first post quite clearly states I was comparing 2008 with 2010. Having driven first FL2 for 2 years and 26000 miles I did not bother with new manual except to set up phone. All FL2's (3) Gone
