Trip computer resetting itself.

Hi All, hope someone can help. I have an 07FL2 SE.

No problems at all in the 5-6 months I have owned it... bar the trip computer resets itself every so often. I like to reset it to zero each time I fill up, but it has done it itself maybe 3/4 times since I have owned it..

Has anyone else had a similar experience? Anything that I can do to stop it?!

Thanks,

Charlie71

Yes. I had a similar problem. A software upgrade cured it I think.

I had the same thing the other week - plus the Sat Nav unit flickered on/off several times.

Yup, I have that problem too with my 07 S model. FL2 TD4 S Baltic Blue, with twin electrics and towbar, roofrails, luggage cover, spare wheel and mudflaps.

Same here..... it seems to happen when you plug in the key and press start too quickly. Very intermittent - except its happened twice in the last month. It resets the under-odometer trip AND the information panel computer as well.
Once the key wouldn't be released and it wouldn't respond to the start button for a while. (It was throwing a strop like many two-year olds?)

Anyone know what the fix for this is ?

The dealership have supposedly 'fixed' it twice while it's been in for other things. If someone knows the specific software version etc. I can just tell them and save the hastle of them telling me it's sorted only for the problem to reappear.
