United Kingdom 2009 Freelander 2 TD4_e GS Manual Stornoway Grey
Newbie saying Hi

Recently took delivery of a 59 reg Freelander 2 GS TD4_e in Stornaway Grey Thumbs Up.

Bit of a change from our 3 series BMW, but we needed more room and something that will cope with not only the potholes locally but also a little light off-roading.

Next time I clean it I'll post some pics. Might be a while though as I cleaned it on Sunday and it took me hours! Smile

Andy

Hi Andy,

Went from a New Mk 6 Golf Gti to a Freelander 2,before owning several other German cars including various 3 series BMW`S and a 2 year old E46 M3 being one of them But this was too hard on the roads especially with todays pot holes.

Welcome Andy enjoy your car, great fun both on and off road. Look for a few Green Lanes near you to really see what it can do and what a BMW can't. ______________________

Welcome Andy. I will keep a look out for a fellow FL2 owner in Chelmsford. I have also recently taken delivery of my 59 reg Black GS TD4_e and am loving it so far.

Am looking to go do some light off-roading too and looking to book the Land Rover Experience soon.

Gemtlemen this is the site for you but to maximise your Freely experience you really need to have them fitted with a towbar and 13 pin electrics so that you can then buy a Caravan and tow it round Yorkshire slowly Rolling with laughter

Thanks to all of you for a warm welcome to the site.

I must say that my FL2 is quite a change from the 3 series M Sport, but it's a much more comfortable ride and hopefully I wont loose anymore fillings! Laughing
