2010 Freelander 2 TD4_e S Manual Stornoway Grey
Are interior switches weatherproof?

Left the windows open on the FL2 today. Needless to say it rained and the interior got a tad damp, including the HDC and DSC switches. Anyone know if these are weatherproofed in any way? Dried them as much as I could but am sure water would have got underneath them. Not sure if this is really a problem or not. Cheers.

To be water proof they would have to be ip rated,i would say no there not but it usualy takes a fair bit to affect them.
I once upset a full macdonalds coke drink which went in one of the electric window switches on another car i had which made the window go up and down by its self while driving along.had to take the switch out three or four times to clean it and it took about two months before it worked properly again.
