Autotrader, like other publications dont publish your true number any longer. Its a system called telesafe. Its meant to stop canvassers from calling you. Basically it has number for known canvassers stored in the system and if one of them rings it blocks them

The cop shop are not interested in dodgy car deals etc....here in kent we no longer have a "Fraud Squad" (ahhhh sounds like the good old days of The Sweeny!!)....
