Sorry Nick Off the top of my head cant remember the loss but its minimal. But put it this way, we have lowerd 12" carbon steel pipes on a pully system with this rope. I would be happy to pull 3.5 ton with it. But you should not shock the load and rope. I have been 150 ft up when my rope got cut on steel work, and after tying in an alpine knot to remove the cut section, carried on working. Alona 08 FL2 SE TD4 manual,Santorini Black, Factory fitted Black Tinted Glass, Anti-Tesco Trolly Side Protection, bebe confort axiss carseats & Cargo barrier to stop twin's buggy & junk coming through. NO Sweets Crisps or Drinks inside. WITH TWINS, YOU DON'T HAVE MONEY ![]() Tug weight 1958kg + Roofrails & Towbar |

I have got a bargain basement Morrisons £4.99 job: spiced in loop at one end and steel hook at toother, great for towing non 4x4 believers out of the klag, it does not matter if it gets frayed, at that price just chuck it under the bench and get another. Also carry a load strop, if it will secure round bails to the old artic trailer it will not let me down on 'important' jobs. still pining for my 3dr, no removeable hardtop, no drop glass tailgate, no roof rack, no pockets everywhere to stow all that man kit |

30 year old length of Liverpool Docks and Harbour Board polypropylene barge mooring rope with a spliced eye at each end made up for me by a an old style rigger, which has never let me down yet and which is accompanied by a selection of shackles and for lightweight towing a couple of carabieners for quick coupling up.

CG, I use baler twine for the most important jobs, i.e. keeping my trousers up, holding up the exhaust on the pick up and slinging the ladders in the shed and 1001 other things. One of Gods more wonderous inventions! still pining for my 3dr, no removeable hardtop, no drop glass tailgate, no roof rack, no pockets everywhere to stow all that man kit |
