2007 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Rimini Red

TR Playing up when cold.

Over the last few days I have noticed that when the tempreture is low, say about 3/4 degrees or cold enough for the Snowflake to appear, the TR switches automatically into Snow/Ice. This has only just started to happen and only does it intermittantly and also happens even if the car has been left with the TR turned off when the ignition was turned off. This morning when i got in the car the temp gauge was reading minus 8. The car was still in the normal setting however HDC failure appeared on the info screen.

2007 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Baltic Blue

HDC fault often appears on my car when it is cold. Never had the prob with the TR though.

It's been down to minus 16c and no problems like you describe.

Off to Stratstone on the 11th.

Did a search on here and it appears to be very common.

Haha I get the HDC fault warning. Let us know the outcome. I might get mine sorted if I remember.
