My understanding is that the price of second hand cars has gone up generaly. This is due to several reasons, car production has been vastly reduced so there is less cars for dealers to sell and this also means there are almost no pre-registered cars about to lower prices. Of course when we come to trade in the situation will have changed and our car will be worthe nothing. Of couse the real cost is the cost to change, as one dealer said to me I can give a better trade in but will charge more for the car.

And they are about 2-3k below dealer pt ex prices.
