Hi Stuartp
Had my updates, wipers used to do one swipe on startup, today it didnt, keeping fingers crossed!
Suggest a chat with the service manager might help, at my dealership he seems to know his stuff, been on the training!!
Good Luck

Same here guys, wipers stopped doing the annoying one-time at startup and no start-stop or trip reset problems so far (after 700km's after the update). My only problem is that route tracing on the satnav erases all points after 3-4 times I use in in sequence (3-4 start stops travelling that is). Anyone had this?

Just got back from my software update, not a complete success to say the least!

Reverse sensor volume a bit better ,drivers “B” trim dealer took pictures of and said he will put in a report, start –up problem wont know if that’s cured yet.

They said the wipers had not done a wipe of the screen since the upgrade, but as I started the car to leave dealers 1st thing that happened was the wipers came on?

Went back in and guy on service desk said “ill go and ask the master technician” (laugh) came back out and said “the master technician (whoever came up with that description deserves a medal) says that is normal all FL2 should do that as it’s the auto wipers calibrating with the rain sensor” .Now I thought that was a very good answer on the spot (total BS) but good anyway, so I said “how come earlier you were so pleased they had not gone off after the update” silence?

I explained that if these self calibrating go off on a nice dusty day and put a bloody great scratch on my screen then I expect Landrover to replace it free of charge ,guy on service desk just smirked.

I have had cars before with auto sensing wipers and not one of them needed to check itself when the car was started?

I am going to push this with landrover themselves cause I am not getting anywhere with the dealer and as they now are just coming up with stupid reasons for this I think I am wasting my time with them. Censored

Stuart the wipers do get cured with the software update. Do keep this in mind when you contact LR. The update even made a difference on my brakes (much better now). Good luck mate.

In descending order there are good dealers, bad dealers and then Land Rover themselves! As owners I think many of us have to put up with absolute cr4p service. Sadly no one seems to have the influence necessary to bring either the dealers or Land Rover to account for this (in truth the same is probably true for other manufacturers).

I had this for the first time last week. No problems at the time with a non-start, but the 'breadcrumbs' just disappeared ! Question I wasn't using a destination, just the scrolling map window (useful for spotting hidden turnings!)
