Flush and Silent

Roofrails, not me Whistle

Got my car back from Pentland today after fitting a new set of roof rails. These one fit flush and I have just given them a quick test at speed are they are silent, no more Freelie concerts from the roof. Thumbs Up Usual good customer service and they didn't even charge me the £10 for the courtesy car as mine had been in a couple of times for the same thing Thumbs Up They have also found that a rattle from the back is the result of some trim which had been taken off and badly refitted (more clips on order). I suspect that this was the dealer I bought the car from as there were one or two other issues when I bought it.

Hi Marvo,

Gonna pop in to the stealers tomorrow, as they told me a zillion weeks ago, they would order the new caps to try on the rear of the roof rails, which will never resolve it! Evil or Very Mad

So i will go with the ammo, that it states in the desructions that the rails must fit flush, and demand new rails to be fitted under warranty, as the noise is getting on me titties! Anyhoo off oot on me mobike.....

I would. As I said before, the technician at the dealers also said they should be flush and that it was unacceptable. They got the new rails, it all fits and I don't have tinitus anymore!! Very Happy
