I fancy colour coding my car, its 2yrs old and zermatt silver, will there be a noticable difference between the new and old paint? |

Probably just as cheap to go the bodykit route so long as your front bumper parts fit properly unlike mine!! (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red. That depends on the bodyshop that paints it! (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red. (Past) RR Evoque Dynamic Lux Si4 In Firenze Red. No it's not unfortunatly. Depending on where you go, your looking at between £1600 and £1950 for the bodykit supplied and fitted. If I fit it myself, your looking at about £1300 - £1400 just for the kit. I have just ordered the door and wing panels, and they come to me at £174 inc VAT. So they will be painted first, painting will be approx £100 to £150. So that will be under £300 total to finish the doors. I can get the new rear bumper for £199 + VAT, so your then talking about £250 of paint to do the rear bumper and re-do the standard front bumper. So well under a thousand pounds. As we have a private plate on it, it will look just like a 2009/2010 model. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Been working on it and almost got a yes (well she's not said definately no ). I had a rear spoiler painted and fitted by my local dealer and the finish was excellent - so that could be a route for me also. |

As our Freelander is the Mrs car, well it's ours but she drives it, I told her what I wanted to do and her reply was.................. "Does it involve me?! I went nope, and the reply was "fine do what ever" Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come......... |
