Quercus did you have to reprogram the ECU for the detachable one? Just received mine today and wander if I should install it myself or not. And how about the bumper beeing cut, how does it look? |

The top of the tow ball on my sits at 46.5cm above the ground. It tows my caravan very well (have now completed about 600 miles (950kms) with the van in tow), the van weighs 1400kg and I tow with 70kg down force on the tow bar; with these weights the car and van sit level and look good.

Hi Rob, Here are my answers to your questions ... 1 & 4 Fuel consumption at 11,500 miles. The overall consumption is 36.8pmg which includes about 600 miles towing. The towing consumption is 25.1 mpg. 2. Yes it is a diesel 3. In the UK we are restricted to 60mph on the motorway (96kph) and 50mph (80kph) on other roads, I always make good progress within the limits of the law when I am towing! As I said before the combination is very stable when towing. Hope this helps, Paul |
