Forum members event in Kielder Forest - 14 Feb 2010

Following on from the success of the last two forum members events in Kielder Forest I have been able to again arrange exclusive use of the forest for the members of the Disco3/freel2/RRS and Defender forums.

The date we have is Sunday Feb 14th.

Further details and the signup can be found on the Disco3 forum at http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic41486.html

Look forward to seeing another good turn out of Freelanders. Thumbs Up

Ian

Jeremy and I from CHPR have managed to hoodwink our SWMBO's into agreeing to let us attend the event (they must have had a better offer)! We'll be traveling up on the Saturday from 'the smoke' if anyone from our neck of the wood wants to travel in convoy?

Would be good to see a few of the Freelander crew there! NPinks, Pete.S... this is local!

Valentines Day - that's going to take some brownie points Very Happy

Any more events coming up nearer my home ? I notice that you had a day at Parkwood a while ago. I've been there a couple of times but the place gets really cut up after an hour or so with the 90 /Discos etc and the ruts become impassable.

Been thinking about doing the Yorkshire green lanes featured in last months LRO anyone else out there thinking same? There's always a way forward!

there is a feeler thread of on Disco3 for Parkwood by CFB who marshalls there

They have the whole place for the Disco3 lads only, so you don't have the place cut up by people

I have been a couple of times, Photos in my gallery

It a good day out for those who wish to play Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Thanks for that npinks - looks like you weren't the only FL2 there. Hardly recognised Parkwood in the sunshine Laughing

From your photos it looks like they open up some of the tracks not used on the Pay and Play days?

Any ideas if there is another planned? Glad to see my Stornoway grey will fit it nicely!!

Cheers! Thumbs Up There's always a way forward!
