2wd, wow that's going to start a debate as LR = 4x4. Everybody else has done it so why not LR.....if it means they reach a wider audience and sell more cars then maybe it's a yes...but I'm still not sure |

Possibly so long as there was a visual difference between the 2WD & 4WD versions to avoid brand embarrasment when the 2WD won't work in the snow or on wet grass etc like the BMW-X6.... (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.

The LRX will probably be offered as a two-wheely alternative, as it is looks to be only a up market crossover

I would say leave the lower end to other brands like Toyota or TATA really, but certainly no LR in 2 wheel only config. LR should remain as a premium brand. Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto

Ebay have been selling 2wd conversions for LR's for ages, Costs a hug fortune of...... wait for it......... Twenty quid !
