I did a search on tyres and while Yokohamas were mentioned in several threads there didn't seem to be an opinion on whether they were any good.

I'm no expert on tyres, but Yokohamas are seen as a good well respected tyre in most circles. ( no pun intended )

Talking of face, I was reading the saga about your tooth! Boy, you can sure tell a story. I liked the photo of the spilt tooth on a book of 2nd class stamps. Was that art and meant to signify that you feel like a 2nd Class Citizen? This forum just gets better, none of the Disco3 forum crap on here. |

Remember reading a pretty extensive test of SUV tyres in a Auto Express latter end of last year. Wranglers and Conti's faired best based on all the tests - dry & wet handling, braking etc plus noise levels. I seem to recall that Yokohamas came second from bottom of about 8 brands tested. Guess it's a case of what your expectations are and what you want to pay. Reading various reports and having used numerous makes over the years, I guess all I can add is - you don't get very good tyres at budget prices. OR do you other forum members know better? |
