The "Main Message Centre" in the centre of the dash and the smaller screen containing the mileage and trip mileage (under the speedo...) both stay illuminated all through the night on my 07 ('56 plate) F/L 2. Car locked, alarm on lights off etc. Surely this should not be so? A fault? Will it flatten the battery? Help!

Mine played crazy this morning as the display stayed on while diriving. The clock wouldn't go on, some pixels missing etc. It was also not changing the trip details below if you push the menu button.

The delaership was on my way so I stopped there to show it. The display was also staying when the car was off, and as the engine started again.

The dealer disconnected the battery and re-connected it again after a minute, like a good old hard reboot. Everthing is fine and it started to work just fine. He said to watch it and if the problem repeats they will look into that.
