Dashboard Clock

Got my car back from the dealers, with bits of rubber stuffed here and there to stop the rattles (seems to have worked). Very Happy The courtesy FL2 showed the time on the info display between the speedo and rev counter. My 08 HSE has never done this. Anyone know if there is there a setting to magically make this appear or is it specific to the newer cars?

My 2010 model doesn't do this unless as you say you can alter it somehow. (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.

(Past) RR Evouque Pure Tech in Barollo Black with bespoke Firenze Red colour coding.

The last 2 courtesy cars from the dealer have done this. I think they were both XSs. One with Sat Nav and one without. Don't know if that makes a difference. I asked at the dealer when I was leaving and was told that they thought that it was possible. To be honest I think that the information you can get from this site is sometimes more accurate than that from the dealers!

Mine too. I usually have the 'screensaver' clock on as looking at the one on the radio is a real Censored , but the wee one in the speedo was a lot easier and safer to see (esp if using Sat Nav). Ah well.... Sad

Thanks

The display has changed on the newer cars to include a clock and an 'instant' as well as 'average' mpg (which I wouldn't want to look at Big Cry )

The 59plate courtesy I have has the instant mpg and clock in the speedo. From memory though my own one HSE with proper HSE Wheels (has to be said) Laughing does not. As I say from memory as it will be two b Censored weeks tomorrow since it has been at Censored stealer waiting for a Censored sensor. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

What a b Censored d.
OK but I have two positives....
a) Your keeping the mileage down on your car Thumbs Up
b) Assuming the loan car had some juice in it, if there's still some left when you get the call (hoping it's soon) get the garden hose out and drain the tank Thumbs Up

I know I keep just popping and putting a tenners worth in so I don't have to suck it, I only put a tenners worth in because I keep thinking "Its only a Sensor I'll have it back tomorrow" fat chance it seems.
Getting concerned now I've booked to go away for Easter and I've been given a CG Freel 2 version. Whistle p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

Just so you and I are in the clear on this I decided to do it earlier after seeing one of AndyC's posts so we can blame him, CG hardly going to go off the Mainland to seek retribution. Perhaps I should have PM'd him just in case. Laughing p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

Back on the topic, Mine has it on the dash, but I found it unusual to have 3 spots with a clock on it in a car. Tach, NAV and radio. Rolling Eyes 2010 Freelander 2 Select TD4 auto....gone
